The Proposal
Camping 8/12/11 weekend at Lake Oroville w/ the squad:
Left to Right - Nuddy, Victoria, Travis, Michelle, Jenna, Jay, Maria, Nick, D, Blumel.
Dogs left to right - Beans, Pig & Droopy aka Poopers.

A hectic morning of packing & loading up the trucks, then a 3 hr ride to the lake (with a tent bag falling off the roof), oh, and then unload the cars, then set up our weekend homes (tents, lol)... Time to put back sum brewskis!
Our "Home Sweet Home" (for the weekend)
Vodka infused watermelon privided by the Grofts - Yummy!
The Birthday Girl with her Birthday watermelon slice (lol):
The lovely wifees of softball -
10 Minutes into playing in the lake, an injury happens -
Oh no! Nuddy's feets!
When the sun goes down, the bon fire flames go up! Lets roast marshmellows!
As we all sat around the campfire, Nuddy paces back & forth...nervous...
He pulls Victoria out the campfire circle and expresses his love.
He reaches in his pocket and pulls out a small box...gets down on one knee and asks Victoria to be his wife! (Of course she said yes!)
Hows THAT for a birthday present! :)
Congrats to the happy couple!
The rest of the weekend was filled with sunshine, good food, cold brews, henny on the rocks, laughs, group hugs, beer pong, kings cup, high fives, s'more brownies, mid-90 degree weather, jumping in the lake, and... ummm... and good times! :)

Coors Light 48hr Boneyard Blast in Reno, NV
Mike was invited to play at the Coors Light Boneyard Blast!
What is the Coors Light Boneyard Blast?
Its a 48 hour softball tournament in Reno, Nv.
We arrived to Reno on Friday and had time to hang out, party, and rest before the first game. Btw, the first game was at 2:00 AM. We were way too excited to get any sleep before the game.
Introducing the Slap'n'Pickle softball team from South City!
And their lovely cheerleaders - and "cheers" we did!
(this is what a few jello shots does to us)
Cheers to The Mulligan Chip! (a mulligan chip can be called by either team to "erase" the previous play) The failed re-do caused Slap'n'Pickle to take the lead and win the game!
Only after a few hours of sleep, another game at 9:00 AM...
::yawn::
I need an advil and a gatorade...or coffee.
Then a few hours later - yep! You guessed it - another game at noon...
::double yawn::
Quick wake up call when Mike got struck in the nose as he ran to first (hit to short, threw to first, & deflected off glove) ! Wowzers! Mike had his first bloody nose :(
He was okay and the tourney was officially over for Slap'n'Pickle.... Now it's time for the Pimp Your Bat Contest!
Victoria normally wins contests like these, and with a lil patience & creativity (& 5,000 rhinestones) she sho' won this one!
Hooray for Victoria!
